Talking are electronic logbooks good enought for an interview?

Hi everyone,

I am using logbookpro and I am thinking about stopping filling my jeppesen professional logbook, and just inputting every flight I do on logbook pro. I will print the electronic logbook and add it to my physical logbook making sure it fits.

My question is. If I interview for the majors in the future, do they prefer to see the old fashion logbook. Or it is ok the way I am thinking about logging my times?

Thank you

As long as your endorsements, and anything done via training has been hand endorsed and signed, i see no problem with it

You do need to bring your original paper logbook(s) with all of your 91 endorsements. Don't EVER lose this or allow it to be stolen! Not having it will disqualify you from working for some employers, and will start any interview off on the wrong foot. If you can't afford a fireproof safe (bolted to the floor) or a safe-deposit box, put them in a double-ziploc bag and store them in your freezer...it's well insulated and will likely survive a fire.

I keep all of my 121 stuff in an e-logbook. I also total that up (well the computer does it for me) each month and then make a single monthly total in my paper book. That way my paper book is up to date with total times. The occasional GA flight also gets it's own entry in the paper book.

I keep the logbook pro, and have scanned images of my paper logbook pages including the endorsements. I then store those images, along with my logbook pro backup out in cyber-space on my email file storage. That way if my house burns or logbooks get stolen/destroyed, I've got a backup out in cyber-space.
