Arbitrator Bloch has provided his ruling on the Pre-Merger Pinnacle Pilots Claim over Realignment 13-02. Mr. Bloch states that “Based on my review of the record and submissions in this matter, I have concluded that the claim of the Pinnacle Representatives is denied." The DRC representatives agreed prior to the hearing that this ruling would resolve all known claims with respect to 13-02 through Rev. 2. Mr. Bloch provided this decision in the interest of time and "will forward the full Opinion and Award in the next 48-72 hours."

Please contact your Pre-Merger DRC representative if you have any questions, but note that the DRC expects the full Opinion and Award to be delivered in the next 48-72hours.

Dick Bloch just repeated what every pinnacle guy has known since being hired, you are gonna get the shawshank treatment. If your a colgan guy you pretend this is fair and ignore reality, cause your sitting where you never should have been sitting.

What is the change ? Or ruling ?

So.......Bloch gives his original ruling, company follows said ruling on vacancies, XJ DRC says company correctly followed said ruling, 9L DRC says company correctly followed said ruling, Bloch comes back and says company followed said ruling.......

I'm not getting the part where anyone got screwed AGAIN. Everyone was screwed as soon as it went to Bloch to give the ISL the first time.

Just because 9E guys think the award should be interpreted differently, doesn't make it wrong.

There are plenty of Mesaba being screwed by this too.... This thing was botched from the very first moment of the merger. The only solution is to put the entire beast down now, it's too wounded to save.

Is pinnacle not below their quotas? If so, it was done wrong...

Too little. Too late. Pure and simple.

Where would a mid 07 9L guy be? RJ CA?

Yes.

But to become Captain now is an ever changing proposition because of so many people leaving and creating open quota positions.

With new airplanes coming, it looks like the 900 captain position will start to go to some 9L after the quotas are filled, because that's where new positions are being created and those go by straight seniority once the quotas are filled.

Is this a plausible scenario. New 900s coming on property which creates a vacancy. Said vacancy is filled by 9E/XJ guys leaving the 200. Now there is basically a vacancy for 200 CAs which if I am not mistaken must go to the 9E/XJ groups until they reach their "quota."

If so it kind if reminds me of when this whole list came out and 9L guys were basically living in a tube. Guy leaves the Q going to the jet, Q CA slot opens up, said slot must be filled by 9L pilot, Saab CA or FO moves or upgrades to the Q thus opening up a Saab CA slot which is filled by 2010 hire since 9E/XJ guys couldn't touch the 9L planes.
