already been discussed in the other Great Lakes thread, nothing new to see here. Suspend? More like, terminated. They will never be back, and with only about 75 pilots left or so they are fixing to be done for good.

i was in DEN, and asked a a FO, how many pilots they really had i. staff, he said " we went from 300 pilots to only 90"

I was working near the GLA ramp in Denver this week, normally a pretty empty place at night since most of their equipment used to spend the night in the outstation. Not the case anymore. Several of the 1900s had quite a bit of snow on them.
On the positive side, if you're flying out of Denver on Lakes, your flight won't be canceled for mechanical reasons.

There was a time, about 10 years ago, a cfmeii with 2,000 hours would cut off their pinkie finger to work for Lakes. Get in, a couple months, a pretty girl could upgrade, and is now a captain at American. The different outcomes of this profession are bizarre.
