What best describes the reason you became an airline pilot (or are becoming an airline pilot)?

The reason I became a pilot is that I'm exceptionally bad at financial decisions.

I wasn't able to get the poll up before you answered in the thread. There is a multiple choice poll now.

I just enjoy flying. It's nice not having a true boss, you're desk travels with you, you're not stuck with the same people all the time, for the most part good schedule flexibility and in the long run pay isn't terrible.

ROFLMAO!

I've traded tens of millions of dollars in stock, and I did pretty well, but I had to come here to find out but I'm bad at financial decisions.

Thanks for the chuckle. Like many things your post is funny because it's true.

Thought the same about being a Naval Aviator.

It did.

Sadly, it was my ex wife it attracted!

Wouldn't becoming a pilot qualify as another one?
