No need to pull them out. Just do a run-up they will self clean. save time so the next flight wont be late.

Just went back and looked at it again, first beacon at about 3 seconds and cone at 4 seconds. Better go put my glasses on!

Whether the beacon was on or not, those engines are screaming loud at idle. It's common sense not to do what he/she did, but the lack of common sense, training, and vigilance played a part in the over all complacency of the ground crew.
