None of it is fee for departure from a major. United has no need for silver to do eas service, the government subsidizes with one of the requirements being that passengers can connect on a major.

I would jump on with silver if they offered new hires the ability to choose any base that would be available. I was told by a recruiter that bases are by seniority and I understand that fully but he also said new hires are sent north and it could take up to 2 years to see a southern domicile. I live in Orlando, Not only would I sign on with them but I would stay a long time as well.

They have a hard enough time keeping anyone on property....I think someone could hold FLL in 2 months if they wanted to. You're going to come up north to help the IAD system at first then you can go anywhere as others quit for better pastures. |
