DECs for Silver?
A friend of mine that interviewed there recently said the recruiter told them, we may see DECs pretty soon. Anyone that already work there, have you heard the same?
Thanks.. |

Thanks.. For the record, since the company is now doling out CA pay to the senior FOs, if they hire more DECs, all FOs should be getting CA pay rates. |

Not a chance. There are still dozens of senior FOs who are qualified and waiting their turn. Unless the company plans on retaining FOs by using bypass pay instead of the failed LOA to raise their pay, it is highly unlikely.

Agreed, highly unlikely. However, the Company MUST do something to attract pilots. We've given them some ideas of how to do it... we'll just have to wait and see what they decide.

The language for bypass pay reads: The Company's logic is that "a" is defined as "used with units of measurement to mean one such unit." They argue that it if bypass pay were to apply to all pilots senior to one such junior pilot in a higher paying status, the language should read "Any/All/Every pilot will be pay protected when a junior pilot..." |

DECs for Silver?
DEC's are doubtful for now. Some of the DEC's from the last hiring stint will more than likely be downgraded for a short time once CLE closes as a base and there is a new system staffing bid.

When do all the 1900s get parked? How many saabs flying? Does silver do fee-for-departure, or at risk selling their own tickets type flying?
