Default TSA December and January upgrade classes

Anyone have any info on these classes? I hear from some other crew members that they were both canceled.

The original post is talking about upgrades, not new hires.

Get used to this, this is how they operate. They say in this industry don't believe it until you see it, that is because of companies like TSA who have some of the biggest idiots in upper management around. Furlough one month, hiring the next! It's a shame because the pilots are mostly really good guys, but the company wide attitude that upper management has created really puts a downer on going to fly. Other than that, enjoy livin' the dream!

I really do not know how many up grades were supposed to be in our class.

I just know that 8 showed up.

The told us in INDOC there there would be some. That is all I know

There are 23 new hires in my class, and I think I heard that they hired 30 for the January class, and 25 new hires for Feb.

The two new hire classes, the numbers my be off a few people, so many numbers floating around I cannot keep track of.
