How many regional pilots are willing to go overseas to make more money. And see what other countries have to offer?
My plans are to go overseas if not hired in the next five years. But if the right opportunity comes I'm leaving tomorrow.

i worked 5 years in both Europe and Asia, but not in aviation. If I didn't have a family here and a spouse with a good job, I would be gone ASAP. The US is in economic decline; it is obvious. The growth is in asia. The rest of the world has a lot to offer if you are willing to adjust your lifestyle somewhat. Pay is higher and taxes are lower, crime is lower in most places, food is cheaper. You would have to give up the monster truck, the AR-15, and Taco Bell if you go.

Even if those options aren't the ones he wanted. I believe the different choices give good various options. I wonder who voted for "other" and what they meant by it?

I've spent a limited amount of time living abroad -- 4 years working in the UK, three months working in Japan, and three months working in Malaysia. (None of these were flying jobs.)
The UK was great. But you could not pay me enough to live and work in Japan again.
As for Thailand, though, I'd go fly a 172 if they'd pay me to do it in Bangkok
Have spent four months there over five years and just can't wait to go back...
