I like the spreadsheet, any particular reason to divide the pilot number by 10?

Thanks Tom,

Yes, dividing by 10 creates a bar compatible for comparison with the number of airplanes. When you use the actual number of pilots the aircraft bar becomes way too small.

OK, WELL THAT LITTLE INTERACTIVE EXERCISE LASTED ALL OF 10 MINUTES BEFORE SOMEONE SABOTAGED IT.

They zero'd out Air Whiskey and Piedmont, and gave PSA all the planes. Classy! Do you feel better now?

Luckily I had a backup. :D

Now, I've had to take away the ability to edit directly. You can give me changes in this thread, or use the upper right "comments" button on the spreadsheet.

If I have an APC screen name to go with the changes, I will personally update the numbers.

No screen name, no change!

Thanks to everyone who played nice:)

How do these numbers compare over time (historical) re: right size fleet to crew.

Is the industry short or long on pilots? The ratio of crew to planes after the divide by 10 looks like a useable number (4.3 crews x 2 = 8.6).

again looks great.

Thanks for posting this, it looks good.

Just a nitpick, but how come most everyone can capitalize CommutAir, GoJet and ExpressJet properly....but no one can seem to ever do the same for SkyWest?

Also, according to the latest fact sheet, SkyWest has 344 aircraft (352 unofficially) and ExpressJet is down to exactly 400. SkyWest, Inc.

Probably for a lack of respect.;)

Anyway, your precious "fact" sheet is not factual. The ERJ aircraft information is wrong and doesn't even add up correctly to the total listed. So I don't trust the 400 number or anything else in that "fact" sheet.

Just another part of the far-reaching conspiracy to keep the ExpressJet-man down, right? Got it.

SkyWest spelled correctly now.

So shall I update SkyWest & ExpressJet based on this 'fact' sheet or not?
