I read on here somewhere Mesa pulled the 200's form Hawaii, IDK if there parked or in service.
Also I read republic canceled leases or parked 20 something 145's for United and soon to be American Connection. The chart shows Republic with 250 less pilots than Eagle and 6 more airplanes.
I think AWAC has 76 frames 5 being spares not sure if the other companies are reflecting spares or not.

Thanks, although I appreciate the info, I really only want to update the chart with data that is given without qualification. Can't use "I think" LOL. I'm sure you understand. :)

Try comparing active pilots to block hours flown on a monthly basis.

Yea, pilots per plane. If AWAC staffed as lean as SKYWest they could operate 95 planes or 24 more, hard to think they're done past a 2015 extension.

SkyWest INC. controls 57% of the non-wholly owned pilot labor. Republic controls 40% of what INC. doesn't have.

Once Inc. is done with XJT, exactly 930 pilots or 6.7% of the non-wholly owned contract companies will have an arguably more expensive contract than SkyWest airlines. It will be interesting to see how a non-union company will lead the pack it terms of labor cost.

I truly don't understand why some pilots at XJT think other pilots at XJT ought to prepare for concessions, or why Skw doesn't believe it will serve them to unionize. If for no other reason it ought to be to quid pro quo their current package. Do they really expect to ride the coat tails of 6.7%

I would say yes. The fact sheet at the link below shows 404 total aircraft at ExpressJet. The main discrepency between APC and the fact sheet is that APC does not reflect the reduction in CRJ200s that has occurred in the last year (88 vs 106). I tried to submit this information twice for update but apparently it is low priority.

SkyWest, Inc.

The combined fact sheet shows 249 ERJs because that was the total before the ERJs started being removed from service. The combined sheet seems to have subtracted a couple ERJs but they neglected to update the ERJ total. I'd say 404 to 406 is pretty accurate. The number will continue to get smaller as CRJ200s and ERJs are removed from service.

With this chart I bet a lot can be determined re: if a pilot shortage is true and if so to what degree.

I don't know the figures but could someone fill them in.

(Number of Pilots Regional) - (Main Line hiring next 18 months) + (Number of new pilots hired by Regionals).

My uneducated non in the system guess is:

20,000 - 3000 + 1500 = 18,500 Regional Pilots end of 2015....

Can some one weigh in on a better estimate?

Thanks

AWAC would crumble immediately if we were given 24 more airplanes. We can hardly staff the 71 aircraft we currently have now, especially on the FO side.
