Don't Go to Colgan
All I can say is Don't come here! Texas is better than the Northeast but we only fly to 12 destinations! You will fly alot as an FO but we will get ******ED alot too! Trips being added to your schedule, Part 91 flights fewer than 10 days off a month!
People vote with their feet at Colgan we are loosing more Pilots than we are hiring just do yourself a favour and go else where

if you want tx you'll prob get it 3 guys in a class of 7 got tx and two bid it last on their list, they are hurtin for pilots in tx

I understand that you are a texan and would like to remain in the state of Texas. Here's another choice of carrier that you could possible look at: CHQ is opening two new base's in TX (CRP and IAH). XJT would be another possibility but chances of getting TX's of the bat will be slim. Worth it though. Saabar.... can back me up on that. Colgan, CHQ and XJT all fly for CAL.

I was just thinking that if he was close to upgrade, why leave? turbo prop time is just as good as jet time from what I have heard, seeing as to how you have to hand fly all the time with no auto pilot. I have heard that UPS, FedEx, and other big carriers like prop guys because they are usually good sticks. So, I would still like to hear from SAAB, besides I am going to have a wife that is going to get a PHD and she wants to go to a school in the HOUSTON area. Thank you for you attempt to give me the insight that I wanted (No matter how simple it was). Have a nice day a$$h0le (I didn't say that, you read my mind...did it FREAK you out?)

hahaha QOL brotha. first and formost majors could care less about your flying skill' hell CAL hired a cokehead that was canned from xjt. xjt is closer to home (ewr). I fly all over the place here better future better pay, per diem and a company that gives a damn. ill pm you and give you my experience at both airlines, it will have to be tomorrow cause my g/f is getting annoyed. I flew with a captain yesterday who upgraded in 2 1/2 years so quick pic isn't just privy to Colgan
