Colgan Airlines AND Texas
Hey guys I am interested in Colgan but really want to stay in the Texas area... is the Texas area considered desirable? Is it hard to get into the Texas area (Could I get Texas as a new hire)? Do they fly the 1900 out of Texas? Thanks all!

IAH right now is probably most junior for F/O's;
Though you may get one of those J towns that nobody wants!!!
Good Luck - BCD

I agree right now i don't know why anyone would go to Colgan. A year or two ago I thought it would have been a great fit. Now there mins. are the same as with all other regionals, if not higher, and upgrade has increased a bunch if my info. is accurate. I hope that Mr. Colgan lowers his mins. again down to 50 ME, i'll be all over it then, but if i need 100 then i'd just go somewhere else.

Colgan is a bottom feeder, I know this, I work here.
Colgan is a TRUE regional airline. As where ExpressJet, Comair, etc are not. Don't get me wrong, I want to go to one of those airlines.
Point is, they do not need to lower their minimums again. Do you really want a 350/50 FO flying a fully loaded Saab 340? I don't.
