A lot of people don't have a Mac and just buy the mobile app for their Apple iOS device. I know the Mac Log10Pro was like $99 by itself and you had to buy the mobile apps separately. It was like $40 for 1 iOS device and more for multiple iOS devices. You should be able to use it still. It will just go unsupported soon and it will become a glorified spreadsheet. I am concerned with the wifi sync and if that will remain since I assume it requires some sort of support. Without the sync, its useless to me. The whole draw of LBP10 is being able to input my times on the phone and have them sync with the Mac |
I highly recommend everyone voice their opinion on the App Store! So far it's two stars which is too high in my opinion.

Checkout the spinoff Facebook page named 'Coradine Aviation's Former Customers' Not much there yet, but this whole "Price-Gate" is out of control. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Is this their new site? https://www.facebook.com/LogTenPro

Disregard. Someone started a general e-Logbook page to discuss e-logging programs and named the page after LTP.

This is hilarious...Start a crap storm by charging pilots for something worth having. ...but offer them some new planes to fly and they are willing to bend over and work for less.

Sad thing is it was the best program but when you did find problems, all they did was argue with you and not actually look into the problem with the program. For those of you in the US Mainland, you may not realize it, but the calendar day is based off Zulu's home town, not your "Local" place you started the day at. I found this out when I was in Hawaii as the new zulu day started around 2 pm at the time. I noticed that any flights I did in the morning were one day, and flights in the afternoon the next day. On the 7 day look back it only added in the afternoon flights. This is a MAJOR flaw rendering the total time look back useless. Per the FAR's, where you begin your day (time zone), is the time zone you use for looking back/forward to find out if you are legal. I informed them, along with a few others, but they not being real pilots, just argued it was correct, and it would be to complicated of a fix. Sad that they would not listen just like they are doing right now with these subscriptions. It will be their undoing. Because of this, I do not rely on the times for looking back, just total time only for my resume.
I tried Logbook Pro, and they are spot on with using local time, but it is just not a user friendly system. |

Nice catch wt932051. Hadn't noticed that flaw. Maybe they'll address it when they find enough suckers to pay their overpriced subscription.
