Oh please, give me a break. I know a retired NWA 744 captain who has one that blows that away! Many others too.
You have yet to see a home cockpit.
The best of them will almost compete with the "level D" stuff. Believe it or not. Okay, no certification or usually no motion, but...
Here's one:

You can read the full article here. Written about by a current 767 captain, and friend of mine, for a major US airline.

This is one of MANY home cockpits out there, and I am proud to say this one is using the software we designed for simulating the 727.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. The best home cockpits are almost identical to the real thing. The owners spare no expense in simulating them.
Of course, this 727 home cockpit IS the real thing!
How about this for a home Airbus cockpit (under construction):

There are many web sites and companies devoted to this stuff, and much of it is for "home entertainment", though some does cross over into the training market.
Yes, many of these silmuators are in Europe, where even the cost of even flying GA can be prohibitive. It's easier to spend $30K to build a Boeing simulator (yes, that's what some can do it for) than to spend $250 an hour flying a Piper Warrior.
There's a whole world of flight simulation out there that some of you may have not noticed.
I work with quite a few airline pilots (captains for major airlines) who both use and help us in designing the software for such.
