Default Pinnacle Pilot ?- Cockpit Headset

Does Pinnacle have headsets in the cockpit or should I have my own? I have a DC but am looking into the Bose X. Any info would be great. Thanks.

you need your own. Some use the DC's, others use the telex 750/850. I am just finishing up training now and have the 850. Everyone I have talked to says anything works but the crj cockpit isnt very loud. were you in the oct 30th class?

The interview was a 3 step process. 50 question written, Sim Evaluation, and HR/Technical. The interviewers were great people. Just be yourself, know your stuff, and they'll love you. I think things are really looking up at Pinnacle from the way they were talking. From what they were saying the new pilot contract is coming along and possible 2nd year FO pay was going to go up.

I had my Bose for over a year. I didn't want to buy another headset since I've been flying the RJ. The bose works just fine

We were told the same thing in the Aug. 7th class, and i'm sure the class ahead of us was told the same thing, and so on.

I was told the same thing when I interviewed in February. When I asked them why they were hiring so many I was told there was going to be "explosive growth" over the summer. Seems like it was more "implosive defections" than anything.
