ok guys this is a little wacked and far out there, but here is my prediction based on what I have seen. I know some people will blast me for this but there are some interesting things going on and i think this could happen.
CRJ 900's - Skywest EMB 170's - Mesaba/Compass and possible crjs Pinnacle = Delta flying, either 200's or some of the new 900's NWA + Delta = Merger after they both come out of bankruptcy After the merger you would see in a couple years another RFP for all the regional flying done under the new merger name. |

And Comair gets what? Nothing?
I just don't see how that is possible. Comair will lose a totaly of 12 crj700s and 30 or so 200s there are big losses in comairs future. And yes Skywest is getting most of the delta rfp. By contract they get 40% of all delta flying Skywest is planning on have over 300 airplanes by the end of the year and well over 3k pilots. Skywest WILL be the largest regional in the world by 2008 |
Also the highups have said the northwest 900s are coming to Skywest.

OK, maybe I am doubting you. We will all find out for sure in a few weeks. |
