ok guys this is a little wacked and far out there, but here is my prediction based on what I have seen. I know some people will blast me for this but there are some interesting things going on and i think this could happen.
CRJ 900's - Skywest
EMB 170's - Mesaba/Compass and possible crjs
Pinnacle = Delta flying, either 200's or some of the new 900's

NWA + Delta = Merger after they both come out of bankruptcy
After the merger you would see in a couple years another RFP for all the regional flying done under the new merger name.

And Comair gets what? Nothing?

I just don't see how that is possible.

sadly that is whats happening. I think comair would be glad if they just didn't lose anymore flying.

from what i've been told by a very good source.

Comair will lose a totaly of 12 crj700s and 30 or so 200s
there are big losses in comairs future.

And yes Skywest is getting most of the delta rfp. By contract they get 40% of all delta flying

Skywest is planning on have over 300 airplanes by the end of the year and well over 3k pilots.
Skywest WILL be the largest regional in the world by 2008

Also the highups have said the northwest 900s are coming to Skywest.

I'm not doubting you, but where is this information posted for all to read.

OK, maybe I am doubting you.

We will all find out for sure in a few weeks.

It was part of the skywest contract that was signed as part of the asa purchase. ASA also gets 80% of all dci out of ATL.

Are you sure that's not the 12 crj700s and the 30ish crj200s Comair has ALREADY lost???

the 12 700s are the ones they already lost. but they are to lose an addition 30 airplanes. either 70s and 50s or just 50s. But more loses are coming for Comair.

From what I understand they lost ALL the flying that was put up for bid
