Why are people getting so bent out of shape over the gang sign? The pic is super boring as it is, props to him for spicing it up a little...it would be more interesting if everyone were flashing a gang sign. I think it's hilarious...some people are just more hyped up than others I guess. All ready to fire someone over forgetting to shave or flashing a gang sign as a joke (look up "irony" in the dictionary if you don't understand the obvious humor behind a clean-cut white airline pilot posing as an east-side crip). Take a deep breath, the world isn't ending

Even if you grow it out during ground school, what gives? You're not exactly in the public eye. In fact you don't even exist outside of the training center and the hotel, and when you do, nobody knows you're airline. And you don't need to fit an O2 mask over your face during training. I say, let it grow

Names are on the opposite side. Numbers are for the new hires to know what their employee # they are. They obviously flip the paper around so they don't let other people see their names on social media.
