I've become quite the expert in getting out of the outstations. It is possible even if you duty off at 22:30. Just keep an open mind. I have hitched on GA planes (mooney's, KA's, etc) I also know ppl that have found a train ride to be relaxing....haven't tried that one. The night cargo guys are great! These are some of the best ways out at the end of a shift. Can make it to a hub for a 6 am flight home. The key being if you don't want to live in the outstation just don't think the only way out is on the next morning's flight.
