We've been down this road before. The date doesn't matter. They will throw a date out there and it will come and go with nothing being said. Every company does it. Regardless of when they announce anything, look for branded ExpressJet flying on the west coast starting around April. They haven't told us anything official except to say "most of the rumors you have been hearing are true". However, there have been little things that I have been hearing and seeing that when taken as a whole are pretty conclusive.

Yes, 2 of my friends who live in my subdivision here in PHX (fly for ASA) were awarded and are currently flying out of ASA's LAX domicile. They're expanding their fleet and # of crews every month in LAX (all for DAL).

Supposedly it will be on the investors call around the 24th or 25th. Dont remember the exact day of the call. Its coming up. Our next perm bid is supposed to be out Feb 1st which will include "Interesting" Things. We shall see.
