Default PNCL reserve time

Guys (girls too),

In succession to the previous post. What does reserve time look like currently at MSP/DTW?

How many hours of flying do you guys avg on reserve at both bases?

Thx

I am in dtw till the end of the month and have been on reserve for the last 2 months since I finished IOE. I have flown about 50 hours each month (almost all highspeeds) and average working 18 of the 20 reserve days for each month. DTW will have you working the most, mem and msp have less action at the moment. It "looks" like I would have a buildup line within another month or so. The guy with the highest sen # in my new hire class held a build-up line for the month of jan, I was 24 behind him in a reserve line. I was told 3 months in dtw til a line, and 6 at the other 2 bases. But that was before 17 airplanes showed up (only 9 more to collect out of the 17) and 3 new hire classes and a few upgrade classes came on the scene. Word is that more upgrade classes are being filled for the next few months (we need capts bad!), so that may help the new guys getting into lines. I dont even have hope for a reserve line in mem for feb- I am the last guy on the list. But in DTW, i would have been very close to a buildup.

all the guys in my class had lines in dtw and msp within 4 months. i on the other hand did buildup lines and reserve in mem for about 6. but now, a little more than a year later i am about 100 away from holding an upgrade seniority. I think the highest they had on the last posting was 880 or so, and i am in the 900's now. all that within a year, and yes now that we have 17 planes back,, as you can see mem flight hours grew by about 3000 and about 25 lines

I sat reserve for a month after OE before getting a hard line (in DTW). Heading to MSP at the end of this month, I think I will be sitting reserve for another 2-4 months.
