Do they hire a lot of outside guys who didn't train with them? The problem I see with companies like ATP and pan am etc. are teaching huge blocks of foreign students who don't understand english. One of my old cfis just left pan am to go back to his job that paid half as much because he found it too stressful to be saying "go around!!" and not having his student understand what he means.

There are lots of flying jobs outside of the regionals that will support your needs. There's a couple medevac companies in your area. Part 135 doesn't top the pay scale, but you can fly for a living and have a home life.
