JetBlue because they show a pilot respect for what he has accomplished. No simulator evaluation in an airplane you have no experience in, no written test on outdated crap that you never use, no pay for your own type rating (yes, I know it is no longer required...but it was). It is what an interview should be. Tell us about yourself and we will teach you what we want you to know if we think you would be a good fit.
Oh yeah, no psych evaluation where God help you if you sit in the wrong chair. By the way useless riddle thread ever. I'd go to SWA because I like their colors! |

I think some of you guys get way too worked up over a simple poll. It is interesting to see where others want to go. I would have thought that Delta would be way in front by more. But that is because I am at a DCI carrier in a Delta base. So my view is clearly skewed. (Didn’t think it was)

Wow, lotta regional pros on here. Who listens to these guys? Not me. Hawaiian would be nice but dang! They need to pay more first year, nobody can live in HI on those rates. Im guessing UAL is second and far ahead of AA because of the 'spress-jet fan club on here.

I choose AA as #1 simply for the seniority progression, no other reason. I would have chosen Delta last year though for the same reason.

Are you saying that Delta hiring for just one year has now made Delta an unattractive proposition based on seniority progression?
If you look back at the careers of pilots who are on the first page of the big three's seniority lists, the only thing that mattered was seniority. They saw contracts that were all over the place, not to mention most started at completely different companies. |
