They don't junior man you with cold calls, obviously you just opened your beer and can't fly. They get you on reserve, they get you when reporting in or out if you have that, they get you in the middle of a trip.

All the profession you mentioned are White Collar jobs I think that most people forget that our profession is Blue Collar.

My company has junior-man capability, and it's only really a myth. I don't think it's happened to anyone in recent history. There are almost infinite ways out of that scenario that it's pretty much useless. |

RAH likes to put little notes on the flight release to get crew members. Something along the lines of "release not valid until crew member xxxxxx contacts scheduling". They'll withhold hotel rooms on layovers until you call them or even send people to physically meet you at the gate as you arrive.
