Default Flight Case/Roller Bag Questions?

Looking for some info on some new luggage. I was looking at the ballistic nylon purdy neat flight case, was wondering if anyone has it and likes or dislikes it. Secondly, is it worth the $280 for the purdy neat roller bag?

Any info would be great!! Thanks

The ballistic nylon flight bag at outermarker.com has worked well for me so far...though I haven't been on the line real long so it really hasn't had to stand the test of time yet...

Yes.

As for the nylon flight case, it doesn't take well to stickers, if that's your fancy. Only downfall I can see.

Costco works like a champ as well plus they will replace it at no charge for life. $99

Does the ballistic nylon flight bag (H-14" x W-19" x D-8.5") fit the CRJ series a/c.

I prefer the purdy-neat cuz it's bullet-proof. The problem with cheaper bags is that you will end up making routine trips to the vendor or repair shop, which gets annoying (ask me how I know). Also if the handle or wheel breaks on a trip, you end up carrying not only your rollaboard, but also your 40-50# flight bag for the rest of the trip...no fun.

The purdy-neat handles are stainless steel and thick enough to tow an RJ. The wheels can be replaced by you with a screw-driver (most bags have to go to a repair shop $$$$, they usually don't sell the parts).

The purdy-neat will last for years and years, and the factory will re-furb them for a low fee.

There are a variety of models, make sure you get one that will fit in the overhead of your aircraft.

I hear a NorthFace backpack works pretty well. (that icon would be so much better if it had spikey frosted hair and an ipod)
