Can't say people didn't warn you

It cracks me up when people who work for GoJet come on here and post angry rants.

It's like a hooker getting mad because you don't want to cuddle.

I think it's shameful that all of the responses to the original post, thus far, have been made in an effort to belittle and demean this guy for highlighting yet another dumb move on the part of regional pilots (and their union) and for attempting to get pilots to do what's best for the entire regional pilot group.

Everyone loses their minds when PSA, Piedmont, and envoy accepts a new deal, but when this guy takes a poke at something equally damaging to the pilot group,........ all he gets for his efforts are insults and snark.

What's wrong with you people?

What's wrong that people don't feel bad for someone who took a job at the White Castle of regionals? Everyone knows about their poor Union-management relationship. Everyone knows that it's one of the worst contracts out there. Yet, I'm supposed to feel pity for someone because they are frustrated by those things?

Aren't you guys teamsters too? They are starting to make ALPA look good

Slick111 06-11-2015 07:03 AM

No, you're not supposed to feel pity for him. But you probably should back his attempt to get his fellow gojetters to NOT pick up open time. He's doing what he can in order to make the "White Castle" of regional airlines suffer a little for their past (and on-going) transgressions. Why can't you get behind that?

Getting others to Not pick up open time is an illegal job action. If he wants to make a difference, get involved in union activities.

Im going to agree here. We need some type of "oneness" we are ALL flying CRJ/ERJ for below standard wages. I don't care what airline your at your still flying for less then what your worth! Yes some airlines have better contracts, but still not being paid what WE ALL are worth. I do agree GoJets is the bottom as far as pay and contract same with Great Lakes but, who knows maybe thats the only place someone could get hired. Either way still at the regionals and we should stand up for each other instead of bring each other down! There is power in numbers!

Thank you, there Sheriff. Ain't you just "the company man".

Haha. I'm definitely no company man. You want any favor in the eyes of the NMB if it ever comes to that? Having various illegal job actions will hurt you more than it helps you. You can come on here and throw tantrums and threaten to go outside the RLA if you'd like. The company can file for injunctions in federal court and it goes on the record. Your union will end up having to bend over and take it more than they already are. That is, if they aren't held in contempt of court first. So yes, please keep doing whatever you want. I'm not the idiot who decided to go work at GOJETZZZ.
