These aren't climbing stalls. These are cruise stalls. Mostly.
Last I knew most were not even 200 centric, though I heard we've had a few those too now.

Interesting that the best pilots in the world who passed the toughest airline interview in existence are not trusted to take a 900 to FL360.

It must be some of those Mesa pilots we hired when Mesa was furloughing

Well, it is just United's or American's or Delta's fuel after all - what a great way to become even less competitive!

Wow talking about inexperience pilots! Zero knowledge in high altitude aerodynamics. I will never set foot again on any regional.

Understood and agree. I guess I just thought that was a given. How often have you heard a CRJ saying "unable to maintain a 500fpm climb?" (Or some derivative)

What is more than likely requested is a simple altitude change and you're never the wiser. Passing through FL310 and it's getting iffy, the PF looks at the PM and says "Request FL290".

I don't think anyone will miss you.

I'm extra safe and cap my flights at FL190. Safest ship in the sky, the people love me, especially cougars.

The fact that you fly an airplane capable of FL300 or higher is a testament to why you are still working at a regional.
