See kids, that's what 18 months or reserve will do to a guy.

Fixed it for you!

LOL! The laughs keep rolling nonstop around here without fail!

Nah, don't blame it on reserve! Not it's fault this time! Poor old reserve always gets the blame whether it's at fault or not. I've always been this way! Nothing wrong with calling bullsh!t sometimes.

Some people have no respect for the cold hard. They down play the good sh!t and play up the bull sh!t!

You got one part right though: the "kids" here hear you and back you 100%. The adults? Not so much.

You've been here less than two years. Some of us have been here 7-8 years in the right seat and on reserve or working weekends most of that period. It's nothing personal towards you new guys, but I think most of us lost our pom poms somewhere around year 4. Should I be stuck here long enough to upgrade beers are on me for all my FO's. Until then I'll bid vacation month touching and enjoy my 90 days of vacation a year. Bottom feeder regionals can su(k it.

You will have FTD sessions, a written test and oral/procedures exam. After all of that, finally, simulator. Don't think it will be fast because they give you some days off, go prepared to stay in training for 7 to 8 weeks. You will have opportunities to go home but I don't recommend, unless you have something urgent, because you will have low seniority and that can be a pain in the a@$% depending on what city you will commute from. If you need more info just PM me.

Bad advice.

Limitations, immediate action items for emergencies and start faults should be committed to memory before you start training. Makes training a lot easier.

Ditto and amen. When I upgrade (hopefully this October) that will be my policy

Just curious; for a possible upgrade this October, what was your hire date?
