Good one!
Why is that? Last two apps I filled out had a spot for turbojet pic time, not turbine time.

I've known a lot of people hired at majors over the last few years. A large number of them didn't have any jet time.

Yeah. This is exactly what the FA will look like after six legs in the SAAB in August.

No doubt. In New Orleans.

I know a couple things about turboprop flying during the summer on those same routes. I also know first hand what a BE1900 smells like after a package of seafood is put in the cargo bin on a hot MSY ramp for too many hours. That "fresh and ready for the day" feeling you get after having showered and cleaned up for work lasts about two seconds outside.

Wouldn't you rather fly a shiny jet instead?

Home every night. Generally 4 legs per day with an average of 6 hrs flt time per day. First officers are flying around 100 and Captains are flying around 85. When GLO launched we were flying 120+ a month. Currently hiring for FO's and Captains. Training is done at FSI @ HOU and generally takes 1 month. Single occupancy hotel, rental car, EFB's, etc. All positions are salaried and OT kicks in anytime you work over 18 days a month. My biggest complaint is that the average duty day is 10+ hrs.
