High and mighty at mainline? Funny how I know people with DUI's getting class dates and FO's being sucked up with 2000 hours-I know 4 already. One even had less than 200 hours of turbine/121 time..literally right out of flight instructing. Your points are invalid.,.its nothing more than luck of the draw, and who you know.
Keep patting yourself on the back, you aren't as special as you think. You're insulting many-regional pilots, and I'm sure your buddies at mainline wouldn't appreciate it either. It's appalling quite frankly.

LMFAO. He's trolling and you guys are snapping at his hook like you're starved for attention - "I'll bite. Please smack me around! May I have another one, sir!"

Believe me, I'd love for the regional airline business to go away ASAP. Of course, your job would go away too. You wouldn't just magically start at mainline. You'd have to be carefully vetted first and pass stringent screening like the Hogan and personal interviews and simulator screening. We only want Tier 1 candidates at mainline.

If you really do work for major airlines, then you are well aware that it was your actions that created this disaster in the first place. "Regional" airlines are bigger than you, fly more flights than you, and are flying your routes in new airplanes that your company paid for. Was it worth selling that scope for?
