If you go to Mesa, get the Ejet, you can easily fly on your own metal to IAH

It does not, unless you were hanging out in ATL in full uniform ready to go in order to make the two hour call out.

I'm sure QOL while commuting can never be something to smile about though, right? Even with ample flights to list on...

Honestly commuting from Atlanta is a nightmare anywhere you go I think. There's always some crazy stand by lists there.

The commute in to base can fall in the call out period as long as you land by your show time

That's actually pretty nice. But I still foresee potential issues with actually getting on a flight when its time to go. Too many people to potentially bump you.

Although I have no clue what the demand for other Endeavor or Delta guys trying to jumpseat to MSP/DTW is typically

I did the IAH/HOU-ATL commute as a part 135 pilot with CASS for about four months, commuted weekly. Only once did I think I wasn't going to make it, but I did. The worst commute I've heard about is between ATL-DTW. Commuting isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be and will never be as bad as living in a place you hate, just so you can drive.

Compass is fine with this too, just call scheduling and let them know.
