Default Commuting out of Atlanta

Let's say that you live in Atlanta but don't end up flying for ExpressJet. What Regional would be best to work for? How easy would commuting be, considering the slew of flights out of ATL going everywhere..

I'm sure QOL while commuting can never be something to smile about though, right? Even with ample flights to list on...

Lots of flights out of ATL, to be sure. But consider that you would be the very last guy on the bump list, competing with every other pilot who commutes thru ATL. Perhaps some of the folks on the inside with visibility on daily flights and stby lists can help here.

Delta in and out of Atlanta is generally a night mare. Or so I hear.

Good luck commuting between any of the hubs. You usually have a list of 5-15 nonrevs with hire dates decades before your birthday on a flight oversold by 10.

I exaggerate, of course. I've never tried myself but when I try to use it as a plan B or a way to get home earlier I can never get on a flight from Detroit.

Just need to get creative. 2 leg it through an outstation that serves both airports. 60% of the time it works everytime.

There's 29 daily flights from ATL to ORD on multiple airlines. I'd go with someone with a ORD base that flies several of those daily flights like SkyW.

This will show you flights, but no info on who may beat you out as far as seniority goes:

I'll never forget being number 120 out of 160 non revs for an ATL-DTW flight.
