Block = Door closed to door open Credit = duty hrs or? Block = Time you can log (door closes to door open). Credit = Hours you're paid for. For me at Compass with 1 year seniority. Average 16 days off and credit 85-90 hours. Pretty decent mixture of trips, but be aware we have 5 days at Compass. |

The easy explanation:

You can get credit for various things. Some trips have you on a layover for a full day without flying but still get paid. Holidays at Skywest pay an extra 4:12 of credit. Stand ups pay high credit compared to the block. Also, my numbers for December are a bit deceptive because I went to three days of simulator so I didn't get any block but I sure was busy. Lastly, deadheading on a flight doesn't get you any block but you still get credit for it. Other things can get you credit but no block, like a cancelled flight.

Well at least your getting paid even when your not flying, my current job is only paid by Hobbs so you can imagine the frustration, also can you explain the 4:12 ratio?

Five day trips. It is good for those who commute but it's a long time to be at work.

I'm impressed with envoys ability to work less.
So 15 hours work and paid 93. Bid reserve so I'm "senior" on reserve even though only about 1/4 way up total list. |

Seriously? 7 days are in a week, so 5 days you're working. |
