There is absolutely NOTHING okay about being the Captain of a jet with 90 people onboard for $63/hour. (3 year Captain with a $3/hr override). Seriously folks let's think about this.....3 more dollars to carry almost twice as many people?????
I have a lot of friends at Skywest, but that's highway robbery. They're taking it in the poopshoot for the hope of a quick upgrade... Screwing us all over in the long run.

Still, I don't think anyone would mind if they raised it

It may be, but I'm kinda tired of getting on this forum to see the same posts appear like clockwork:
Mesa sucks!
GoJet pilots are scabs!
SkyWest isn't unionized!
Eagle has no upgrade!
Ad nauseum...Whenever things kinda die down, someone else comes along, that usually knows little about the industry, and makes a random "stir the pot" comment, usually from the above list, such as the one that started this thread. What do such "Bash Airline _____" threads accomplish?
If my approval of management's "abuse" of SkyWest's pilot group is what's wrong with this industry, I'd hate to think how you felt about my attitude towards my own company, which treats its pilots far worse.
Good post palgia. Work rules are good...Everyone I've ever known that went to SkyWest said that they couldn't have been treated better by the company. Looks to me like a management/pilot relationship that other companies should maybe try to emulate, rather than scorn. But you know what, no one should go there, I'm sure it's just the Kool-Aid talking.

Okay, 76 seats. But my point is the same, when you carry 52% more people for 5% more money, you are lowering the bar.

Who said "abuse"? I didn't. I am not bashing Skywest. It's a good company. But when I'm paying union dues and donating to ALPA-PAC to try to improve our profession, it's frustrating to see my fellow pilots be so shortsighted.

Oh, by the way.....
MESA SUCKS!
GO JET PILOTS ARE SCABS!
SKYWEST ISN'T UNIONIZED!
Eagle's upgrade will probably change in the near future....

Yes, Eagle's upgrade will probably change. Up or down, though?

The majority of your posts have been nothing but Skywest bashing. If you don't work there then why do you care? It seems like a lot of effort for no reason...
