KPDX to KLAX commute... ok or ugly?
Wondering how many of you do the commute-to-work thing, and what to expect if I end up doing it. I don't want to permanently move out of the great Pacific Northwest, and I've been reading the warnings here to avoid commuting at all costs. But if I HAVE to do it for a little while, would a 2-hour flight PDX-LAX be manageable? Plus, I could do a crash pad a few nights a week.

LAX crash pad
If you do end up needing a crash pad I definitely recommend this one.

I've been in one of the apartments for over 6 months and have been very happy. Clean and convenient and no "hot bunks". $300 - $350 a month.
Good luck,
Dan

Commuting in or out of PNW is notoriously bad. Would depend on the airline and equipment... If you have own metal priority on a bus, that would mitigate the pain. JSs are more comfortable too... You'll come to appreciate that.
