That's not at all the issue.

The issue is locker rooms and what the man might do inside of the women's locker room. This exact scenario is making the news right now. In Washington state, a man, dressed as a man and looking like a man, went into the women's locker room and undressed himself in front of a bunch of girls and women.

What he did is now perfectly legal there. He didn't even attempt to identify as female.

Man in Women's Locker Room: 'I Have a Right to Be Here'

Yeah but he was just a ******** trying to make a 'point': http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.2535150

If you identify as a man, and you look like a man, you're going to cause panic in the woman's locker room and therefore should be in the man's. Is it really so complicated? People know which restroom to use, including transgender. The NC law is bigoted and offensive, and that's why it was mentioned in the article: because reasonable, reputable companies pulled out of NC.

No, it was a political agenda, that had to be injected into the article and rammed down our throats by the liberal media. The silent majority is growing tired of this crap.

Thank you couldn't say it better!!

Has nothing to do with that... it's about treating humans like humans.

Trans people in bathrooms hasn't been an issue for the past 10 years... I don't understand why it's now suddenly an issue that someone that looks like a guy is in the men's restroom for a basic bodily function. The republican party lost my support a long time ago because I'm gay and they think I don't have any right to exist or to marry somebody I love. That's not an agenda.. that's me and it affects my life. As for the silent majority... well... at one point a majority of people were against interracial marriage... a majority of people saw no problems with slavery... Human rights are human rights, and that's something 60% of people shouldn't be able to take away from the 40%. (Except national polling for gay marriage for example is now well over 50% support, etc, but that's not the point.)
That said... I think it's important to be tolerant of both sides and tolerance goes both ways. I understand people have differences of opinion... I just don't think that should ever extend to being able to threaten someone's rights.

Is there any way to watch the panel discussions online?

I have gay friends, both male and female, and some of my favorite crew to work with are gay. I have no issue with any of that but to me this is a pretty simple topic:

If you have a hog you go to the men's room.....End of story. Life isn't fair and sometimes feelings get hurt. If you truly feel like you are a woman but are stuck in a man's body then I really do feel for you but I simply cannot agree with him going into the ladies room.

Unfortunately this is a case where the few ruin it for the masses because you can't sit here and tell me that some dude isn't going to dress up as a woman and claim that "he identifies that way" in order to be a creep. It will happen. 100% chance. If it happens even once, ever, it's not worth it just for some guys "feelings".

What we need now is 4 bathrooms instead of 3.

I agree with you on this ..... My only add is that now the LGBT community has more rights then people who are straight... How's that fair?? Where are my rights?

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...0a0e7c1d55.jpg But it's creating the exact same problem if you force this chick into the men's room just because she was born male.
The only people ruining it for the masses or dudes dressing up as a woman to be a creep are people "protesting" this law... I don't get why it's suddenly an issue. Society has handled this just fine til now, if you look like a dude you go to the dude's room, if you look like a chick go to the chick's room. Also... women's bathrooms are full of stalls anyway. So how/why are they going in there to be creeps? There aren't urinals, you realize that right?

Stillcantfly: As a gay man, what rights do I now have that you don't? *Citation needed on that one.

Please list in details what "rights" an LGBT person has that you don't.

I'm waiting.
