That's great... Pinnacle flying 76 seaters.... even if you work for Pinnacle this is not good news. Mesa is the only airline below Pinnacle.... Congratulations

How low will Pinnacle need go with their Captain minimums and their FO minimums now?

They have a new machine to interview candidates in a woman's womb.... If they can kick they get the job!

I really hope we can get a contract around here and attract some more pilots. I have only been here a few months and have been working almost every day I have been on rsv although the trips have been interesting at times- Deadheading everywhere! I hope it gets worked out. I am just curious of how the hell we can staff another contract for flying. I would be interested in living in SLC though- just dont wanna be the equivalent of a street capt and have guys constantly bidding out there bumping me down from hard lines when I could just hold one in mem.... who knows.. i guess it was about time for another rumor- its been almost a week now..

Get a contract that people just don't go there because they just graduated from Jet U. That's a start. 900's are not good for anyone. Until they are expensive to fly at a regional this will be our future. Most of us are going to be 900 and EMB captains, you just don't realize it.

By the way, I flew 132 people today, made a little over 80 bucks plus per Diem and we are supposed to be one of the good regionals out there (1st year pay at SKW, but a little under 2nd year pay at Pinnacle, Mesa, TSA, GJ etc.)

Default Unlikely

I wonder where all the Delta flying out of SLC going to Pinnacle and Express Jet will be coming from. No Skywest or ASA flying was part of the recent RFP. One of these other two carriers moving in there would mean that Delta was expanding out of SLC in addition to all the expansion going on with the Skywest 900's right now. I am not saying that this will not happen. I just don't see it as a likely scenario, especially with Skywest having the ability to undercut anyone trying to move in on SLC.

Airsupport, there is something to do in Moline! Stay warm, and get ready for some snow! I am about 60 miles north of you and we are to get at least 6 inches with heavier amounts to the south, that would be you! Have fun flying tomorrow and hope you get out ok or you will be experiencing more of Moline than you are hoping for!

I am curious, if the pilots at pinnacle don't agree to fly these heaps at 50 seat rates who do you think that management will give them too?

Oh whats this, we have another certificate now? Wonder how long it will take to convert piltos from saab 340's to crj 900's. They have been making crap money for so long they'll like that 50 seat rate.
