Well maybe that is a good sign in ORF. I just got awarded ORF out of training (which i am still in now). Well have to see what happens. Have the reserves in ORF been flying more lately?

Yes... and by yes i mean no. I have flown less than 15 legs this year! I was talking to a another FO reserve here in ORF who has been here about 4-5 months less than me who has just as much time in the airplane as i do. Apparently there is very little rhyme or reason to who gets to fly and who does not... I unfortunately do not fly. I actually have my PC at the end of this month and have less than 150 hours in the airplane... oh so hillarious! :D

That's rough, 15 legs is all in a good day here at Lakes, maybe you should come over here. ;) (Actually 9-10 legs is the highest I've heard of in a day here)

Glad to know that my airline isn't the only one like that...I like to call it "ping pong ball" reserve, because it's about as scientific as the lottery.

I want PHL. But im the lowest senority in AWAC pilots now. I go were they put me. Hopefully they i can get phl next bid. Im hearing 10 or so a month for classes. so lets see what happens.

ghilis101 04-03-2007 07:38 PM

so jealous of you awac guys. you guys are a classy operation and you operate out of my favorite base, phl

BoilerUP 04-03-2007 07:42 PM

HA, probably a good chunk of our FOs would trade you PHL for your seniority at Skywest...

ghilis101 04-03-2007 07:49 PM

hah, my seniority? im the bottom FO in my domicile. i flew 12 hours in March. your FO's arent too happy there at AWAC?

Grass-is-greener syndrome...although it could also be called "Skywest is in DEN, ORD, and now MKE with a 2 year upgrade syndrome" regarding some AWAC pilots.
