Interview experience and a good back up if FDX doesn't call or I don't make it.

Comair nows pays perdeim during training if you get JFK as a base, Which you will. But you can bid back to CVG or GSO withen the first week of class. However keep in mind that you still will go to JFK for a few months before you get your base you bid for. Currently JFK is going from 100 crews to 200 crews by next bid.

PROJECTED MAX/MIN NUMBER OF POSITIONS

Default the good ol' days

I was hired by Comair in 1989. Back then there were two bases, MCO and CVG. Actually, it was like two companies. We got no pay during training. Once training was over, I cleared about $750 per month on reserve in a crashpad in Erlanger, KY. I was trained on the SA227 and eventually flew over 100hrs per month just to make enough $$$ to eat.

Much has changed since then, but the pay is still very low. I hope that CMR will once again be its own company free of DAL. When I left in 1996, CMR was one of the best regionals on the planet. It got gutted and the life sucked out of it. I wish all of you only the best and I hope that some day you can tell DAL, the DAL pilots and thier MEC to go pound sand.

Cheers,
A330

Um read my gouge on aviation interviews. Look up the one from Feb 14th and I had 750 hours listed. I got no CRM questions but others did. I did not take a prep course.

On another note...anyone in my class by chance? I start the 19th. I think I'm going to just stick with JFK so I can hold a line sooner. I'm gonna move to Boston and commute.
