It's the HMEC 46 which is TSO'd. They're compact and lightweight, so they don't get uncomfortable on the longer flights.

FYI for E175 folks: The XL-5 (airbus type) port works, but just like the 2-plug type. The ANR is not powered from the aircraft, just the batteries.
I would recommend the 2-plug, just in case you fly GA or something not Airbus.

Why don't you send them an email, they are very responsive.

Wish someone would make this kit cheaper... such a ripoff seeing as the boom Mic for an xbox costs $26 for the QC25.

Latest update says ships in 6-10 weeks.

I used it on a 4 day trip last week. The audio is notably clearer compared to the old uflymic. There also seems to be less noise caught (EMB145 is noisy AF).
I used the old setup for close to 7 years, with no issues. This new one, I'm not as optimistic it'll hold up as well, the boom and the wires are significantly thinner.

Anyone else feel like it is too loose? Doesn't fit very securely.. not much confidence here.

Had the same issue. Apparently they changed to a different O-ring on some of the later production models as the initial one was occasionally not holding up. I emailed them about the issue and they had a new boom mic in the mail the next day. Very satisfied with both the product and customer support.

Guy I flew with had one. We swapped for a while (I had an old Bose X). It was about half the weight and as good or better noise canceling as the X. The mic was not as clear and had some issues with being to soft or quiet if not pressed up to the mouth. I just turned him up on the audio panel but this also increases background and does nothing for ATC. I guess it has a long mic option, the standard mic reaches about the corner of your mouth. The headset fit seemed good and mic plug-in was secure.
The mic and boom were not great IMO.
