Uflymike on sale!!!

Take any timeline they give you and double it to make that the best case scenario. Anticipated to start shipping in the fall after two years of waiting as it is. Then shipping in November. Then in December. Then told mine would shop middle of this week. Thursday is passing and still hasn't shipped. I think they are using only a hammer and chisel to make these things with the speed they are moving.

I'm using it and I'm very happy with it. The microphone is shorter than a typical headset so it took some time to get used to it, however it picks up my voice perfectly. If you want to make the setup even better add a Bluetooth receiver (under ten bucks on Amazon) and you have a really sweet setup.

Which receiver are you using? Is it plugged into the unit itself? Sounds like a great idea.

This is Brandon from UFlyMike.
First and foremost, no one is cheating. We are shipping orders as fast as we can. As logical as it may sound, the time that an order was placed is not a good indicator of where you are in the queue. If you would like to know exactly where you are in the queue, simply contact us and we can tell you where you are and when we expect it to ship.
In regards to the microphone length, it only reaches the corner of the mouth by design. Placing a microphone boom directly in front of the mouth is legacy design of old dynamic microphones. A microphone capsule directly in front of the mouth gets a lot of wind noise from the mouth (known as "P" popping) and nose, thats why these mics usually have large windsocks. Moving the microphone boom to the corner of the mouth significantly reduces noise with almost zero impact to output volume. If this really concerns anyone, just order the longer mic.
I look forward to hearing feedback from you guys, let me know what you think of the product.

It plugs into the unit about 6 inches from the plugs that go into the aircraft. It's nice and out of the way. Any of the ones you see will do fine, just get one that has good ratings.
