FYI - If you have a Bose Factory Store near you (usually in an outlet mall), they sell factory reconditioned QC25s for $199. Which is $100 cheaper than anywhere else/new.

Same Bose warranty, same everything, it's just $100 cheaper.

This plus the UFlyMike seems like a no brainer...!

I first received a tracking e-mail from FedEx followed by an email from uflymike. I honestly don't know when or how they're shipping; you may want to call and see if they have any status updates. The lady there was friendly and informative.

I just talked to uflymike. They said they have not started shipping to any one that wasn't on the expedited list. They assured me I was the 4th order they received and it would ship this week. I submitted my order at 12:01 EDT. Which means they were confused, or you cheated.
They told me there was no way anyone not on the expedited list would be ahead of me.

Not sure why you quoted yourself, or how I somehow could have cheated. I sent an email to them in response to the whole "who needs it by Christmas?" thing asking them not to do that and to honor the way they advertised, which was to ship in the order they were purchased. I never asked for mine to be shipped early or ahead of the line, that was the opposite of what I had asked for. I'm guessing they shipped it to me to somehow appease me. Either way it looks like you and a few others (I bought mine at 12:04am the week before sales opened) have been accidentally skipped. Getting upset won't help anything.

This is a life changing turn of events I tell you. You've mentioned over and over how EARLY you ordered. What's a few more days? Its a microphone, not a can of soup in some post apocalyptic grocery store.

Anyway... They did say they'd respect first come first served. I'm one of the first to order and after a lifetime of delays their decision to keep me waiting further just about capped off the whole experience.

Anyone used the new one yet? Care to give us a run down? Cue the tumbleweeds..

Out of the box the fit and finish of the product is very nice, and the custom case they made is much sturdier than the images on the website look. The pieces plug together nicely, and aren't too easy to pull apart, which is good so it doesn't pop off in flight.

I ordered the standard boom mic but it seems a little short, comes just past the edge of your mouth. My last headset has the mic coming to the center of my mouth and so Im used to that but Ill use it a little more and see about getting it swapped for the longer size. It didn't seem to affect the sound though.

With the noise cancellation on it works fantastic; super quiet and the sound is great. It still works well with the cancellation off(or dead battery) but gets a little quiet. Not so quiet that it's concerning in anyway, just noticed a difference.

I only used it one day so far and kept my old headset in my bag in case it had any issues, but it worked great. I'm very happy with it.
