Loss of Medical Insurance

Also, with the Harvey Watt plan thru SkyWest you also get their medical consulting and advocacy services included. Aparently it's headed up by one of the FAA's former top level flight surgeons, that will advise and lobby on your behalf to get your medical reinstated.

After doing the math on the insurance the only way it is a benefit is if you become permanently disabled as in can't work any job. The deduction of any other income kill any positives to the plan.

I've looked, but where did you find the small print saying that? Or any other small print on the SkyWest plan? The HW website doesn't seem to offer much beyond that flyer.

As someone states, make sure you read all the fine print and the conditions for payment. Insurance companies are happy to take in your monthly premiums, but when it comes time to pay up you may find their enthusiasm is lacking.
