Who has taken a lateral move in their carrier, regional to regional?
I did, Mesa to Expressjet.... good idea, yes.
How far did or do you think it set you back?
I feel i went forward? alot
upgrade dropped below 2 years here.... around a year till im capt. at the current pace.

Colgan to Expressjet
I was 9 months into Colgan...............
I guess only time will tell if it was the right move, as far as QOL and pay, XJT embaresses COLGAN, I just hope the branded stuff goes well. I will say (maybe becuase I am picking up open time, and they reason they are open trips is becuase the CA's?) I had more fun "flying" with the COLGAN guys, some of the XJT CA's are very very boring, but then agian I think thats why previous FO's dropped the trips, but XJT kicks ass by far

4 years and 10 months at ACA. Started upgrade, never got to finish. Got furloughed, got hired at XJET. Hopefully upgrade in the summer making me a 7 years RJ FO and not by choice
What did it cost me? Still Haven't caught up to the pay I made in 2002, 2003, 2004, what would have been 2005 at ACA. Never got any PIC time, so basically 4 years and 10 months down the drain. Lateral FO to FO at a regional is tough when its not voluntary.
