Cadet program. Interviewed my sophomore year of college a week after I got my instrument rating.

God even September is long enough of a wait. I wonder how many people that already have their time are actually waiting it out just to go here.

Interviewed late winter, recently confirmed date in July. Just reached mins. So a month wait technically? They are ramping up. Hang in there, it's worth it.

This is what many don’t get, most who are waiting don’t have the flight time. The cadet program and lift were very smart moves by the company. Essentially they removed the pilot shortage from YX. If they have their way, I suspect OTS hires will be a very small percentage in the future. They just need to keep FOs around long enough to break even on training cost.

I have one, and I'm almost at minimums. The recruiter told me I need 1500 by class date. Apparently, also includes ATP-CTP done. Are they the only regional doing this? Are the days of going into class with 1475 gone?

How recently did they offer the class date?

Why most candidates are getting earlier class dates and all they can offer me is early October?

Is it cadets only?
