Default Republic Flight Benefits

Obviously you don't choose an airline based on their flight benefits. But, who all gets flight benefits when you work for Republic? Parents? Kids? Grandparents? Girlfriend? and how good are their benefits. Thanks!

One spouse (wife/husband or common law (with documentation)) or domestic partner, children 24/26yr or younger if full time students, and your parents for all three partners.

AA allows one travel companion in lieu of spouse/domestic partner (this can a girl/boy friend or just a normal friend)
UA allows one friend in lieu of spouse plus an extra friend (same as AA)
DL allows two sets of parents (parents divorced but remarried)
None of them allow in-laws as parents though.

30 days after day 1 of indoc. They need that time to do your background check and put you in CASS.

Not ture. You can sign up after 15 days as once you sign up you can use them right away. Thats what we did in my class... they will tell you that they cant be used till 30 days but if you list for the flight you are good to go.

You can sign up at 15 days, but they are not supposed to be activated until 30 days.

Did anyone actually fly within 30 days, or were you guys just looking on the sites?

A lot of us didn't get activated on all 3 till about the 30 day mark anyways. You won't have time to use them but if the wify and kids wanted to I guess it would be possible

A few questions about the benefits:

Does EVERYONE get benefits through all three? I've been reading through the benefits guide and it seems to allude that you only get benefits on the carrier you support (or your base).

Besides the activation fees, is domestic non-rev travel totally free for me and my companion/domestic partner or are there segment fees for them?

What standby priority do we get on each? Is AA priority based on check-in time similar to how it works for the WOs?

I got an e-mail from Kathy K. today for class on Tuesday 9/5.

I was sent: New Associate Orientation Information and Helpful Guides that explains a lot of the pass specifics. Basically you will be eligible for passes on all 3 lines after 30 days. ZED fares are after 90 days.

Will you be in the 9/5 class?
