Not exactly like changing scope...top-out jet at a regional or entry-level jet at a major carrier?

I know a few thousand people who will fly any size airplane for fair (mainline) pay and mainline retirement benefits.

Well yea of course. Why would mainline mgt pay you double to do the
same job you're doing today?

They don’t want more, just bigger and more efficient.
No one at mainline “pilots and mgt” want you or the 76 seaters there. Pilots want the guys from their unit there. Mgt wants you at their regional for 5 years then you’re free to go.
