Exactly, it is all cyclical. You want toxic? Go to Skywest or Air Wisconsin where they are currently on the lower end of the pay scale and were given horrible TAs to vote on (both rejected).

It depends, could be first month. Want a specific Sunday off? Well, that could be a little more difficult until you get on the upper half of FOs at your base (about a year). But you will most likely get a Sunday off or two each month.
Strangely, I have had every Holiday off this year so far which I didn't want. Due to Holiday pay here, senior people actually bid to work holidays. I have been able to pick up Holiday pay on most holidays though by picking up turn either on the trade board or open time.

As a first year FO your first pay statement of the month is half of your min month guarantee, so around 1300. You second pay statement of the month includes your second half of the guarantee, anything worked over that, per diem, and other pay and could be more then double that.

No, all sundays if possible. I know I won’t keep that consistency until I have decent senority within the company. A Sunday here and there is fine. I just do a lot of work at the church so Sunday’s are a must for me, but again, I get how this goes. Just wondering what it looks like. MIA would be my preferred base, but that’s also senior. Luckily, I have some time before I can apply to any 121 operator. Thanks for the reply!

I was in your situation regarding Sundays and church obligations. I lived in base at CMH so I told the scheduling software to only give me a line if I could get all Sundays off. That meant I was on reserve several months longer than I would otherwise have been but it was worth it. Once my line could hold Sundays off I went almost a year without working a Sunday except for one that was my mistake. If you live in base reserve isn't bad at all. Overall I enjoyed my time at RAH. I was never there pre-2015 contract so I never saw that extremely toxic time in its history. Post-contract I was holding 17 days off, liked the plane I flew and people I flew with, and would have stayed a little longer to hold out for one of the Big Three if upgrades had been anywhere in sight for ORD.

2.5 months in and I've been happy here. Credited 110 hours during my IOE/reserve first month, of which I sat exactly one day reserve and then held a line the next month (LGA). I've liked almost every hotel, with some being exceptional. Still crediting 95+ hours this month and next month so I'm not interested or capable of picking up much more than that, but there is almost always open time available. I realize I'm pretty new but in my short experience the company has treated me with respect and I enjoy my trips and places we fly to and overnight in.
