Anyone who has been in the regional industry for more than a minute is acutely aware that ALPA for regionals is just as much of a ****show puppet performance as the Teamsters, if not more.

For regionals, correct. ALPA is designed for Ma and Pa and if a contract is in the benefit of the regionals that fly for them it’s not in the benefit of Ma and Pa

For starters, ALPA is not a union. It’s an association. It’s very much driven by the MEC or “local”. National provides tools, training, and legislative interests that are mutually beneficial to all member airlines. Even some who are not members: you are welcome for KCM. They do not control the individual MECs or have influence in there decision. Every MEC is independent.
