I wouldn't be so quick to throw LCC's under the bus against mainline. Might not be as glamorous as mainline, but if someone wants to get to mainline through an LCC, that will keep happening. The saying around here has been you've got to get out to get in, and I've known a few guys personally that went to JetBlue for mere months before getting the call from DL.
